The North Hero Historical Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the town’s heritage. Our purpose is to stimulate an appreciation of the historical heritage of the town of North Hero and to nurture a sense of community among its residents. Our goal is to disseminate information about the history of North Hero and Grand Isle County.
We seek to discover, collect, and preserve materials related to the history of the town and to work with local government and private enterprise to preserve historical buildings, monuments, and other important sites.
